Delivery Information

Aromas by Red ships within the UK and Isle of Man only.

Wax melts and wax burners are sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class unless a different shipping option is requested. 

Large orders are usually sent using Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For Service, and Wax Burners using the Royal Mail 2nd Class Small Parcel Service.

Reed diffusers will be sent using Royal Mail Tracked service. Due to the nature of this service, reed diffusers will only be posted once a week. If you are purchasing reed diffusers as part of an order, leave a note at checkout letting us know if you are happy for your complete order to be posted together or if you would like the diffusers posted separately. 

Please make sure you select the Diffuser option at checkout.

If you are placing a very large order or you wish to use a different delivery service, please contact us before placing your order for a quote.

Proof of postage will be obtained. 

All Aromas by Red products are handmade and need curing time. This means they take a little time to make and allow to cure, package and dispatch. We aim to dispatch your order within 3-5 working days. Any delays in your order will be notified as soon as possible.

Delivery should normally take 2-3 working days depending on the time you place your order, however please note that due to COVID19 deliveries may take longer.

Collections

Collections can only be arranged with prior agreement from ourselves. Free Collection can be available to those within local area. If collection is agreed you will be allocated a convenient timeframe to collect.  Please note that after three failed collection attempts, your order will be cancelled and your items may go back into available stock. You may not be entitled to any refund in order to cover costs.  

Returns Policy

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 

To return an item, you must contact us within 14 days of purchase. Once your request to return has been acknowledge, you then have another 14 days to return the item.

If 14 days have gone by since your request to return and we have not received the item, or if the item is received by us but is not in the original packaging, is not in the same condition that you received it or shows signs of use, then unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If items are received back damaged for reasons not due to our error or is not in it's original condition or packaging, we are entitled to make a charge to cover the cost of this, and in turn this may affect any amount refunded back to you.

If a refund is approved, then it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

 Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account or statement from your original method of payment again.

If applicable, contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially completed.

 Sale items (if applicable)

Sale items are non-refundable; only regular priced items may be refunded.

 Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged and will only replace like for like. In certain situations an item may be exchanged for an alternative at our discretion. If you need to exchange an item, contact us or send an email to aromasbyred@gmail.com first. Once an exchange has been agreed in theory, send your item to our registered address. Once it has been received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your item and will notify you of the final decision of the exchange.

 Shipping Items back to us

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable however if an item has been returned and approved for a full refund, reasonable return shipping costs will also be refunded.

If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

RIGHT TO WITHDRAW

Effective 2nd June 2020

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason under UK Distance Selling Regulations.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you physically receive, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, physically receives possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an email to aromasbyred@gmail.com or using our online contact form. We also require a receipt or proof of purchase

To meet the withdrawal deadline, you must inform us of your intent to withdraw within 14 days from the day you place the order. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Effects of withdrawal

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

You shall send back the item without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your decision to withdraw.

The deadline is met if you send the items back before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the initial cost of returning the goods.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

We may withhold any refund until we have received the items back and inspected them to ensure item(s) are unused, in the same condition received by you and is also in the original packaging.

Any refund to you shall consist of all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), however a partial refund may be offered if the item is not received by us in the expected and explicitly specified condition.

We will action any refund using the same method of payment that you used for the initial transaction.

If 14 days have gone by since your request to return and we have not received the item, or if the item is received by us but is not in the expected and explicitly specified condition or shows any signs of use, then unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and try to make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
